2024 Rank Prize awarded to CEPS CDT student Sarah Norman
CEPS CDT student Sarah Norman wins best PhD presentation at Rank Prize symposium on THz applications of liquid crystals.
Founded by Lord Rank in 1972, RANK is a family charity that celebrates research in optoelectronics and nutrition. These two fields were at the heart of Lord Rank’s interests and businesses.
The 2024 Rank Prizes were awarded at the Royal College of Physicians in London this year. Sarah Norman, PhD Researcher on the CEPS CDT at UCL, was awarded the best PhD presentation prize for her presentation on non- contact terahertz surface current imaging in metallic resonators with aperture-type nearfield microscopy.
